- The W3C’s Policies Relating to Web Accessibility section contains a growing list of links to accessibility guidelines and related information for more than 12 countries around the World, so far including Australia, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Portugal, the UK, and more.
And tools to help you check your pages:
- The 508 Accessibility Suite is an evaluation tool for Dreamweaver and Ultradev developed by Usable.net with Macromedia. This tool evaluates a page or an entire site for Section 508 and level 1 W3C guidelines.
- The CSE HTML Validator now includes validating for 508 Guidelines. This integrates with many programs, including Macromedia HomeSite, Macromedia Dreamweaver, and others, and also acts as a stand-alone program.
- LIFT Online is an online service by UsableNet to help recognize and solve HTML code for usability and accessibility, and includes a 508 Accessibility test.
